A comprehensive examination of SilkPerformer’s ability to test and monitor SAP applications and infrastructures.
Goal This online course will help students to build the skills to execute and monitor quality assurance tests against SAP infrastructures.
Using SilkPerformer, this course will focus on properly configuring the test environment, recording and plyaing back scripts through the SAPGUI Client API and monitoring the infrastructure.
In addition, this course will also review the integration of SAP based SilkPerformer projects with SilkCentral Test Manager and SAP eCATT.
Participants QA project leaders, testers and engineers who need to develop their SilkPerformer skills to test and monitor SAP systems.
Previous Knowledge
- Awareness of functional testing and load testing concepts
- Experience using SilkPerformer for web and/or client-server testing
- Expertise with SilkPerformer’s BDL scripting language
- The ability to manage BDL verification and parsing functions
- Experience using the parameter wizard and implementing project attributes
Familiarity with SAP environments and the SAPGUI Client
Tools The course includes a large number of audio-visual components demonstrating processes and procedures. In order to complete the hands-on exercises, course students must have access to a SAP infrastructure.
SAP offers the ‘Mini Web Application Server 6.20 ABAP Engine’ that can be purchased for a nominal fee from www.sap.com/shop by clicking on the ‘SAP Knowledge Shop’ link. This application can be installed on a desktop and will suffice the course requirements. |
